Because This Is Who I Am!

Strange times, sure. A challenge, yep. A shift, absolutely!

Not only am I adapting, I am thriving! This is not to take away from the challenges people are facing. It’s not to say that the uncertainty doesn’t weigh on me.

Through my eyes, the world is a better place already. People are walking their dogs and themselves. We wave to each other and greet one another genially. Even if we’re shouting across the street at each other. Shout out to that guy. He absolutely made my afternoon!

I get to work from home and it is everything that I thought it would be. The hours fly by. And yes, I know I’m blessed to be able to work from home / have a job right now at all. My week days begin at 5am where I’m writing my personal and freelance stuff. 9am I shift to work mode. Eight hours later I log off and take the dog for a walk. I spend the days smiling!

This weekend, I wrote an incredible amount. I walked some. I relaxed. Did a little gaming. Snapped a couple shots on my last walk. Called grandma. And when I’m done this, I’ll be back to writing. All this while pushing through a migraine that’s making it hard to see. So, forgive any spelling errors. Grammatical ones are still on me.

I don’t know what the right thing for everyone is. We all have different stressors. But what I hope for each of us, is that we can still find a reason to smile and connect each day. Don’t be afraid to shout across the street at someone. It’s hilarious fun!

Take care of you and of each other.

Cheers and blessings, Selina
