Soulful Sundays – darkness comes

Let’s glance at the obvious to note that it’s Monday and not Sunday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! (Yes, I’m Canadian). Apologies for being late on the post, but also you are welcome because the image we have today is better for having taken time yesterday to focus on it. Plus, it got the family’s stamp of approval. I didn’t ask, but it feels really good having their support.

‘Darkness Comes’ had positive reviews and had everyone asking what the darkness is. The answer is that it’s different for everyone because we’re all fighting unseen battles.
Depression, negative thought patterns, illness, stress, anxiety. And so much more. That dark shadow is gaining strength in our world, it seems.

For our family, Thanksgiving always holds a note of sadness now for we lost someone special to suicide. The years don’t make it better or easier. We just found a way to honour that soul and acknowledge our blessings both here and lost. So, for all those spending Thanksgiving alone, it’s not weakness reaching out for help. You deserve the help.
