Keep working at it. Though it may not turn out exactly, or maybe not anything like what you’d envisioned, that doesn’t mean that it won’t be exactly right.

I wrote those words last week when the struggle felt overwhelming. I didn’t want to give up, but the thought of turning off the lights as well as the world was incredibly tempting. However, each step took me closer to something new. And now, I have a new art piece to show you!

This little cutie is a gift for a dear friend. She’s effectively blind after eye surgery, so this isn’t a spoiler. Wishing her a speedy recovery. For now, my best thoughts and wishes go out to each of you. May this holiday season bring you warmth and love.
