The best part of a WIP, at least for me, is the in-progress part. I love seeing the stickman-like drawings turn into fully formed bodies. I love discovering a new creative path for the characters on the page. Seeing these things happen is like seeing a growth within myself.

So perhaps, I should start viewing myself as a WIP. We aren’t born ready to tackle the world. And with how fast the world changes, it’s hard to know the right way to respond. Doing the best we can isn’t always enough to see our dreams come true. But I think with every try that we make, we see the character development blossom within ourselves.
