A main course of life, with a side of education, followed by a delicious dessert of challenge. What exactly am I thinking? It’s always been my philosophy that we’re only alive when we’re taking as much as we’re giving. There’s more that I want to give to the world. More stories, more hope, and more love. To do that, I need to take some time to fill the arsenal.

Step one, I’ve entered the NYC Midnight microfiction challenge. There isn’t much I can tell you at this stage as the competition is on. Already, I’ve been challenged to rethink how I approach storytelling. There’s a good chance that I may grow.

And with that growth, we might as well take another step as I consider the possibility of going back to school. The thought of more debt is depressing. The idea of working fulltime while taking a full course load is exhausting. But the idea of launching a new career with the tools needed is ever so tempting!

I’m still trying to see if everything is even possible. Though there’s a lot, I’m really happy. And I hope that you are too.
