“For the needy will not be forgotten forever,
the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed.” ~Psalm 9:18
It’s been a long while since I’ve felt the peace I had out in Hague, and about that long since I’ve sat down with the Bible open. Far from being religious, I still own my spiritual side. And though it’s not something I have any shame about, I’m not too open about it either. Being both Christian and LGBTQ+ tends to raise the ire I prefer to avoid.
Tonight I opened my ‘Hague’ photo album along with my Bible. The two below remind me to be both patient and still. Even if all of life’s problems need to be solved, they can’t all be solved in one day. Be kind to yourself, and enjoy these moments.
