There is so much which aims to take us down, that I know how important it is to be the something that lifts others up.

The sadness in your inner voice needs a sponge to absorb those tears. So, whatever negative thing someone else has to say, I hope that you will hold to this moment. You are valuable! You are exactly who this world needs. Please, let that beauty that you are shine bright and true.

I want to share the following image of a current WIP. For so long, I felt that I couldn’t let my true self shine. Writing and drawing aren’t achievable dreams. They’re a hobby at best. Focus on being successful.

But that success was defined by someone else. Success through these eyes is a far different vision. Success is seeing the way my drawings evolve. It’s the way others have intense emotions over a character I wrote! Seeing the impact I can have is my definition of success.

So, I always want to be that something good to lift others up.
